Comprehensive Complaint, Refund, Return, and Delivery Policy
1. Right of Withdrawal (14 Days) As a private consumer purchasing online within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
Notification: You must notify us within 14 days of receipt via email or WhatsApp. Once notified, you have an additional 14 days to return the product.
Condition of Goods: Products must be returned entirely unused, uninstalled, in the exact condition received, and in their pristine, original packaging. This applies to all product categories, including mechanical parts, body panels, accessories, and tools. Any signs of use, installation, missing parts, or damaged packaging will void your right to a full refund.
2. Strictly Non-Returnable Items
Electrical & Electronic Components: Items such as A/C compressors, heat pumps, air suspension compressors, sensors, and cameras are strictly non-returnable under any circumstances once the packaging has been opened due to their sensitive nature.
Custom & Special Orders: Products ordered specifically for you or purchased as part of a discounted bundle (unless the entire bundle is returned).
3. Mandatory Return Delivery Requirements
Direct Physical Delivery Only: Returned items must be shipped directly to our physical address. We strictly will not collect returns from parcel shops, post offices, or pickup points. Any package sent to a pickup point will be rejected and returned to the sender at their expense.
4. Absolute Deductions from Refunds If you choose to return an item, the following non-refundable costs will be automatically deducted from your final refund amount:
Shipping Costs: You are fully responsible for all return shipping costs. Additionally, the exact shipping cost incurred by L&M Autoparts for the original delivery (even if originally advertised as “free shipping”) will be deducted.
Payment Processing Fees: Non-refundable credit card, gateway, or payment processing fees (up to 3.5%).
Packaging & Handling: A standard deduction for the original exterior shipping box and packaging materials used to safely dispatch your order.
5. Right of Complaint (24 Months) & Wear and Tear Exclusions L&M Autoparts is liable solely for deficiencies and defects caused by original manufacturing or material errors present at the time of delivery. As a private consumer, you may complain about such manufacturing defects within 24 months of delivery.
Proof of Purchase: The invoice number serves as proof of purchase and must accompany the claim.
Mandatory Visual Evidence: To initiate a claim, you must submit clear video and photographic evidence demonstrating the defect. This media must clearly display the L&M Autoparts logo and the serial number (if applicable) permanently marked on the product. For components where the defect is only apparent during operation, the video must clearly show the failure while the part is properly installed in the vehicle. L&M Autoparts reserves the right to refuse any warranty claim if sufficient visual proof is not provided.
Factory Testing & Unjustified Claim Fees: Please be aware that certain complex products must be returned to our manufacturing facility for extensive technical testing before a replacement or refund can be authorized. If factory testing determines that the product is not defective, or that the damage was caused by incorrect installation, misuse, or failure to follow standard installation procedures, the warranty claim will be strictly denied. In such cases, testing fees, diagnostic charges, and all associated shipping costs will be billed directly to the customer.
Remedy: If a manufacturing defect is deemed valid after inspection, L&M Autoparts will, at its sole discretion, remedy the defect or replace the item.
Strict Exclusions (Wear & Tear and High Mileage): The 24-month right of complaint does not cover normal wear and tear, deterioration due to intensive use, or high mileage. If an investigation determines that a part failed due to heavy vehicle usage, extensive mileage, or standard mechanical wear rather than a structural manufacturing error, the claim will be legally rejected.
Labor Exclusions: We strictly do not cover expenses for diagnostic time, workshop fees, removal, or installation. Liability ceases entirely if repairs or modifications are made by unauthorized third parties or if the product was treated negligently.
6. Responsibility of Customers & Mechanics (Voiding Warranty) Before installation, compatibility must be confirmed by matching the part number and performing a physical side-by-side comparison with the original part (a tolerance of +/- 3mm is acceptable for parts such as driveshafts). Installing a part without verifying compatibility completely voids any claim for refunds, replacements, or compensation. L&M Autoparts is strictly not liable for loss of operation, time, profit, or secondary damage caused by improper installation or the failure of external systems.
7. Specific Requirements for High-Liability Components
A/C Compressors & Heat Pumps: The Chiller & Heat Exchanger kit (or complete new Supermanifold) MUST be replaced when installing a new compressor to prevent metal shrapnel contamination. The compressor must be refilled with 200g ND-11 oil through the low-pressure side. Failure to meet these requirements destroys the new unit and instantly voids the warranty. (Note: Non-active communication warnings may appear in Service Mode due to aftermarket software protocols; this does not affect operation).
Air Suspension Systems: Must be refilled with nitrogen by a professional, and the compressor relay must be replaced. Compressor burnout caused by pre-existing system leaks is excluded from coverage.
Driveshafts (Tesla Model S/X): Warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Known OEM design flaws causing vibrations under acceleration (SB-21-39-001) are excluded.
Parking Brake Motors: Caliper gears must be cleaned/lubricated, and the motor perfectly sealed before installation to prevent water ingress. Damaged caliper motor gears indicate improper maintenance and void the warranty entirely.
